Résumé: My husband and I came to PEI to do some biking, and knowing that we would have bikes on the car rack at night, wanted a quieter place where we wouldn’t have to worry about them. So many cottages have a big playground or pool in the center which is great for families but can be noisy if you don’t have kids. Enter this piece of paradise. The self-contained unit is part of a private home with its own entrance and you can park right by the door. The kitchen seemed to be well-equipped although we just had breakfast there. It has an outdoor table to eat at if the weather is fine which has expansive views over a meadow with the ocean beyond. Sunsets were stunning. It is very central - we headed to North Rustico one day, hit Charlottetown and some points east the next day. Owner is very responsive to questions via texts. The flat is tastefully decorated and modern. The only negative thing I could point out is that the shower had low pressure - took longer to rinse out shampoo. But it was perfect and peaceful and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
